“Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing we’ll ever do.”
Hi, I’m Janet
All of the challenges I have faced in my life have taught me resilience and given me the strength to find happiness in spite of adversity. Through my work as a life and wellness coach, I am blessed to support my clients as they overcome adversity and feel empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
My devotion is to working with people facing chronic illnesses was inspired by my family. When my oldest brother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and given two months to live and then went on to thrive for 24 years, I became inspired to explore an integrative approach to health.
Experience and Background
In addition to the above, I have 26 years experience as an Occupational Therapist with a majority of my time spent assisting families in finding balance when faced with the challenges of illness or a child with a disability.
In my practice, I use a variety of coaching models including; positive psychology, somatic, behavioral change and neuroscience, appreciative inquiry, strengths based and family systems theory. In addition, I utilize my experience as a certified Daring Way Facilitator, to engage my clients in the importance of vulnerability in connecting to their story and in creating meaningful, wholehearted connections with their families and support providers.
I look forward to working together to help you harness your strengths and identify the changes you could implement to bring more balance to your everyday life.
